Canterin Park is nestled on the outskirts of the beautiful Avon Valley a mere 1/2 drive from Historic York and on one of the Cobb and Co trails. The out post (of which the original building is still standing) is only 15kms from our stud entrance.
Our main discipline is Carriage Driving however we compete successfully in the Show ring aswell. Our ponies are suitable for many disciplines due to their superb temperaments and trainability.
We have a small breeding programme. We aim to breed good quality ponies with exceptional temperaments. With our main Pinto stallion, Tuxedo Beat, we can offer all this plus the added bonus of colour.
Our newest arrival- Minstrals Casanova - Welsh B, brings with him some exceptional harness bloodlines in his sire Moondyne Caro and is an exciting addition to our stud.
While we are primarily a colour breeder we do not forsake quality for colour. All our mares are carefully selected to compliment our stallions and are chosen for their temperaments, confirmation and height. We are also using selected outside Welsh stallions to bring in new bloodlines.
